Objective:

To be proved an asset by serving with dedication and fulfilling assigned jobs, delivering constant high performance in teaching, training, and research in distinct areas of Commerce and Management including Financial Management, Accounting, Organizational Behavior, and Information Technology.

Job Responsibilities as – Senior Faculty Member, Faculty of Financial Management, HIPA, Gurugram:

Ø Organizing training courses including Trainers Development Programmes (TDPs), Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs), and Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs). During Covid-19 times, organized such events in virtual/online mode.

Ø Developing curriculum of the courses, designing schedules, preparing study material, and coordinating & delivering sessions on topics relating to Financial Management, Accounting, Organizational Behavior, and Information Technology. During Covid-19 times, performed such duties with ‘Work from Home’.

Ø Doing Research Projects, Case Studies, and Writing & Presenting Research Papers in Conferences & Seminars.

Proficient in imparting training (Both Online and Offline) with using Information Technology for performing assigned jobs more efficiently and effectively for excellence at work-space.

ØAdaptive to environmental changes, capable to learn from mistakes, and committed to delivering excellence with understanding group dynamics of team and colleagues.

ØCommitted to make constant efforts in enhancing own capabilities following the latest advancements in distinct areas of Commerce and Management i.e. Financial Management (including Accounting & Project Management), Information Technology (including Business Communication, Management Information systems, & Computerized Accounting), Marketing Management, Public-Private Partnership (PPP), Entrepreneurship Development, and Human Resource Management.

ØExperience of over 14 years for imparting, coordinating training courses, designing modules, preparing study material, organizing courses, and delivering sessions in Workshops, Seminars, and other events organized for developing & sharpening skills of Officers, Executives, and Students.

Public Financial Management, Analysis of Financial Statements, Financial Applications for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), Financial Audit, Detection of financial irregularities and embezzlements, Economic Offences, Inventory Management, Financial Decision Making, Project Management, Financial Management Information System (FMIS), Financial Accounting and Control Mechanisms, Government e-Marketplace (GeM), and E-Commerce.

Taxation Issues: 

Computation of Tax Deduction at Source (TDS); Submission of e-TDS returns; Downloading Form 16 from TRACES portal; Submission of Income Tax Return (ITR); and Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), National Pension System (NPS)

Information Technology: 

Spreadsheet Modeling, Financial MIS, Computerized Accounting (Using Excel and Tally software), Enterprise Content Management, e-Office, and e-Tender Applications, Government e-Marketplace (GeM), and Cyber Security tools.

Administrative and Service Matters: 

Good Governance, Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Right to Information Act, Record Retention Schedule, Store Management, Maintenance of Service Records and Establishment Matters, Human Resource Management System, Conduct Rules, etc.

Organizational Behavior: 

Self-Management, SWOT Analysis, Time Management, Business Communication, Leadership Styles, Motivation, Stress Management. Emotional Intelligence, Employability Skills, Evaluating Personality Effectiveness, and Personality Development.

 

Administrative Experience:

·   More than 14 Years’ Experience heading Faculty of Financial Management at Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurgaon since 29th December 2006.

·   1 Year Experience of working as a Protocol Officer at Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurgaon.

·   More than 5 years experience of procuring goods in HIPA with compliance of Punjab Financial Rules

·   3 Months Experience of working as Nodal Officer in a consultancy project, “Capacity Building Programme of Sarpanches and Panches of Panchayati Raj Institutions” for Fatehabad District of Haryana.

·   Implemented Tally Software in Accounts Branch and Stores of HIPA for inventory management.

·   Designed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) in Finance and Accounts Branch followed by an internal audit of the Accounts Branch at regular intervals.

·   Represented HIPA in other Government Departments at State and National levels whenever required.

·   Experience of not only organizing courses for Haryana Government Departments, Boards, Corporations and also delivering sessions on various locations in Haryana on various topics of areas of interest.

 

Teaching Experience (as of 30.06.2021) (14 Years+)


As Faculty Member in HIPA, I have completed 81 projects including 8 Research Projects and 73 Consultancy Projects sponsored by Departments, Boards, Corporations of the Haryana Government and also sponsored by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India. In each project, funds are received and utilized strictly as per the norms of the Government and my employer HIPA is benefited from the same. In most of the consultancy projects, skills are imparted to the Officers/Officials of the Haryana Government. The list of the projects is available in Annexure – “A”.  

Events organized at Haryana Institute of Public Admin (HIPA):

As Faculty Member in HIPA, I have been assigned work to design courses, prepare curriculum for trainees, design modules and schedules, deliver and coordinate sessions, and organize the events followed by evaluating the same to reassess the training needs of the officers/officials of Government Departments, Boards, and Corporations. Every year, the institute receives grants from the Government of Haryana for getting these functions completed. From designing to evaluating the events, I have completed 175 events including Seminars, Webinars, Workshops, Conferences, Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs), Management Development Programmes (MDPs), etc. including 17 events of 1-day duration, 86 events of 3 days, 63 events of 5 days, and 5 events of more than 1-week duration; the detailed list is available in Annexure – “B”.

Publications:

Apart from organizing training courses and delivering sessions as faculty throughout my tenure in the Faculty of Financial Management, Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA); I have 14 publications including two research papers in International Referred Journals, six research papers in National Referred Journals, five chapters/articles/research papers in books published by reputed National Publishers, and two books published through Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Participation in Seminars / Workshops / Conferences / Webinars:

Learning is a continuous process and I stay eager to learn new emerging terms, topics, and skills to perform my functions effectively. I have participated in 91 events including international and national level conferences, state-level workshops, seminars, and webinars organized by reputed organizations to learn, interact, and improve my knowledge, sharpen my skills for improving my functions in various areas of interest. Out of 91 events, in 16 events I have presented research papers or delivered talks as a panelist on different topics. The detailed list is available in Annexure- “D”.

·        Co-chaired National Seminar on “Sensitization on Gender Issues to Curb the Growing Violence against Women (March 24-25, 2015) organized by BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Sonepat (Haryana), India.

·        Invited as VIP Distinguished Guest in National Conference on Skills in Higher Education (28th November 2018) at New Delhi.

·        Invited as Guest of Honor at a State Level Workshop on Income Tax and Goods and Service Tax (24th Jan 2019) at Government College, Hodal

·         Invited as Guest of Honor in the National Conference on Intellectual Property Rights, Knowledge Production and New Global Currents (1st Oct 2019) organized by the Department of Law, B.P.S. Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat (Haryana).
